Romance Chicago librarian Henry suffers from a rare genetic disorder, which causes him to travel through time without warning. He has no control over when he will leap or how long he will spend in the current time-frame. He meets and falls in love with Clare, who feels certain that they are destined to spend the rest of their lives together, even though Henry can disappear in the blink of an eye.
