Young soldier David returns from a tour of duty in Iraq, haunted by the blood-spattered memories of the battle behind enemy lines. In order to forget the nightmarish recollections, he embarks on a mountain biking expedition in Europe and meets the beautiful Angeline. David also learns about a terrifying local legend, spun by a group of violent and sadistic locals, who will stop at nothing to slay the former soldier and his new sweetheart.
