The Apartment

Comedy Re-release of Billy Wilder's bittersweet comedy about American life of the time, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the film's original theatrical release. Bud Baxter works at a New York insurance firm where he is just one face among thousands. In order to endear himself to the bosses, Bud allows his superiors to use his apartment for meetings with their mistresses. It seems a small price to pay for career advancement. Problems arise, however, when Bud realises that his boss Mr Sheldrake has taken his old flame Fran as a lover.
