Thriller French ex-pat Martha Vial runs a coffee plantation in an African state torn apart by civil war with her husband Andre and teenage son, Manuel. When violence between the government and the rebels escalates, Martha and her family find themselves in the eye of the storm as unwelcome white interlopers. However, Martha refuses to be driven off the land, continuing to run the plantation as the spectre of impending tragedy looms.
