John Matthews is manager of a construction firm, who left his first wife Sylvie to begin afresh with Analisa. Out of the blue, John receives a panicked telephone call from Sylvie: their son Jason Collins has been arrested in possession of enough pills to earn him 10 years behind bars. US attorney Joanne Keeghan agrees to pardon Jason if John will risk his life to go undercover and bring down the drug supply chain masterminded by Juan Carlos Pintera aka El Topo.
