The Stuart Hall Project + Discussion

Raised in Jamaica with Scottish, African and Portuguese Jewish roots, Stuart Hall is a leading cultural theorist, who has used his own heritage and experiences to inform his central argument that external forces continually shape and mould a person's identity. This documentary celebrates the life of Hall with a montage of the intellectual's own film, radio, photographic and television archive material set to a soundtrack by his musical hero, Miles Davis.
