Middle-aged executive Aoyama searches for a new girlfriend by orchestrating a fake audition. Former ballerina Asami immediately catches his eye and the pair begin to date. Asami seems perfect, however, when Aoyama begins to check her references for the film job, he discovers that most of the people who supposedly know her don't exist. In fact, nobody seems to know who she is.
