Kids Verne the turtle lives with his woodland chums in a tranquil area of natural beauty. Unfortunately, a new housing development threatens to destroy the animals' habitat, causing consternation among the cuddly critters. True to form, Verne retreats into his shell, hoping the problem will simply disappear. Scheming new resident RJ the raccoon seizes the initiative and proposes that the creatures band together to steal and plunder from the new human neighbours. More animals join RJ's revolution and the battle lines are drawn between the four-legged rebels and the two-legged interlopers.
