Leah Vaughn is not ready for a family with her boyfriend Dave King and they split up. Two months later, she crosses paths with handsome IT expert Carter Duncan, who sweeps Leah off her feet. The relationship rapidly deteriorates when Carter displays violent tendencies and Leah is forced to end their romance. Unfortunately for her, Carter continues to stalk the lobbyist and she turns to Detective Hansen for help to file a restraining order.
