Drama New 35mm print of the allegorical 1986 drama, centring on Alexander, a philosopher and family man, who is celebrating his birthday with his wife Adelaide, teenage daughter Julia, young son and two friends - the local postman and doctor. When an ill wind blows through the festivities, bringing with it a mood of doom and gloom, Alexander makes a pact with God to save his family, no matter what.
