American Assassin

Action Mitch Rapp is orphaned when his parents die in a car accident. To compound his misery, his high school sweetheart Maureen Eliot is killed in a terrorist shooting on a beach. These losses drive Mitch into the arms of the CIA under the aegis of Deputy Director Irene Kennedy. She identifies his potential as a weapon of mass destruction against terrorist organisations around the world and assigns wily Cold War veteran Stan Hurley to train Mitch.
