Drama Short Cuts-esque drama interweaving six stories of love and betrayal in San Fernando Valley, California. A television producer lays dying, looking back on his life, hoping to be re-united with his estranged son; a veteran game show host is knocked for six when he learns he has cancer; a quiz show child star yearns to win the affection of his money-grabbing father; a former quiz show child star longs to declare his feelings for a cute bartender. The characters all collide one stormy night, and by day break, their lives are all radically altered.
