Thriller Police officer Will Dormer travels to Alaska to hunt down a wanted felon. During the investigation, he accidentally shoots dead his partner, Hap Eckhart, and is then blackmailed by a criminal who witnessed the crime. Meanwhile, Will attempts to accost chief suspect Walter Finch, and local police detective Ellie Burr begins her own investigation into Hap's murder.
