Drama Fortieth anniversary re-issue of Tomas Gutierrez Alea's drama set in early '60s Havana in the aftermath of the Bay of Pigs. Sergio wanders the ruins of his beloved city and makes half-hearted plans to write a novel. The drifter meets aspiring actress Elena and attempts to broaden her horizons with literature and visits to art galleries, but she remains untouched by his actions.
