Action Clara follows a length of twine tied to the bandstand in the garden of her godfather Drosselmeyer's vast estate. She emerges in a snow-laden wonderland - the gateway to four magical realms that exist alongside our own. Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Realm King and Flower Realm King preside over three of these kingdoms in blissful harmony but the fourth realm is the domain of Mother Ginger. She has declared war on her neighbours and is marshalling a vast army.
