Documentary A lyrical hybrid documentary, which contrasts the fortunes of more than 800 asylum seekers held at the Christmas Island Immigration Reception and Processing Centre, who are hoping to enter Australia, and the 40 million land crabs, which migrate annually from the island's vast jungles to the coast. The film focuses on counsellor Poh Lin, who is one of the 2000 culturally diverse inhabitants of Christmas Island along with her family. She offers support and advice to the detainees.
