Action Renowned scientist Dr Dyson Ido animates a female cyborg called Alita, who has no memory of her past. She slowly comes to terms with her abilities and falls in love with a local boy called Hugo, who teaches her how to play the fast-paced combat sport of Motorball. With her strength and speed, Alita is a fearsome competitor, which puts her at odds with Vector who controls the Motorball matches and sometimes rigs results. Meanwhile, a cyborg called Zapan is tasked with killing Alita.
