Documentary Founded in 1927, the New York Golden Gloves is an annual competition for the best amateur boxers aged 17 to 34 in America to test their strength, agility and stamina against one another to be crowned champion and claim the symbolic prize of a pair of golden hanging boxing gloves. This documentary follows competitors Nisa Rodriguez, James Wilkins and Titus Williams as they prepare for battle inside the ring, overcoming personal heartache and self-doubt to etch their names in sporting history.
