Drama Re-release of David Lynch's 1977 dystopian fantasy, revolving around Henry Spencer, who is trapped in the living hell of a futuristic, industrial town saturated by smoke and noise. Mary X gives birth to their child but the newborn is hideously deformed, and swiftly creates friction between the parents. Mary X eventually leaves Henry to raise the mutant offspring on his own, driving the poor, beleaguered factory worker to distraction.
