A Season In France (Parent And Baby Screening)

Drama Abbas and his brother Etienne are teachers in Bangui in the Central African Republic, who flee their war-torn homeland in search of a brighter future. Abbas's wife is killed during the escape and he becomes sole carer for two children as they seek refuge in France, where the father is forced to work at a food market while Etienne is employed as a bouncer. During the lengthy and emotionally draining application process for political asylum, Abbas falls in love with French woman Carole.
