Documentary Born and raised in Modena in northern Italy, Luciano Pavarotti acquired his love of music from his father Fernando. In 1961, he made his debut as Rodolfo in La Boheme, beginning a steady rise to stardom. Director Ron Howard is granted access to the Pavarotti family archives for an affectionate documentary portrait of a father and husband, who sold in excess of 100 million records worldwide. The film incorporates footage from concerts and interviews to recount Pavarotti's journey in his own words.
