Drama In 1960s Tilbury in Essex, a six-week-old baby is placed into temporary foster care and surrogate mother Ingrid takes charge of the infant. As the boy grows, Ingrid forges a complex relationship with little Enitan, who struggles to earn the love and respect of his parent. Starved of a mother's affection, teenage Enitan exhibits self-destructive behaviour that eventually leads him into the clutches of a gang of skinheads, spearheaded by the fearsome Levi.
