Mid-August Lunch (Pranzo Di Ferragosto)

Drama Middle-aged bachelor Gianni lives under the thumb of his domineering, aristocrat mother in central Rome. The day before the August Bank Holiday, building manager Luigi asks Gianni to take care of his elderly mother during the vacation in exchange for reducing some of the family's debts. Gianni reluctantly agrees, only to be faced by two women: the manager's mother and his elderly aunt Maria.
