Two friends, both named Gerry, pull off the highway to take a leisurely stroll down a wilderness trail. After a short while, the pair become lost and when they try to retrace their steps back to the car, they find themselves stranded in the desert with no shelter nor any means of attracting attention. As they continue to wander aimlessly in search of human contact, the two Gerrys begin to fear they may never make it out of the current predicament, testing their friendship to its absolute limits.
