Bajirao Singham is an honest cop who prefers words to violence to resolve a conflict in his hometown. A visiting city girl, Kavya Bhosle, falls madly in love with Bajirao. However, there is bad blood between the lovers' parents and Kavya's father refuses to give his daughter's hand in marriage. Tensions between Bajirao and underworld figure Jaikant Shikre boil over when the cop learns that his nemesis is the mastermind behind a lucrative kidnapping ring.
