Mukhil works as a cinema usher and suffers terribly from insomnia. A drug dealer offers him some pills, which reportedly allow the user to experience deep and vivid dream states. However, if the treatment is discontinued, these waking dreams become living nightmares. Desperate for rest, Mukhil takes his first dose and he is delighted to slip into the imaginary life of a successful screen actor whose friends bear an uncanny resemblance to Mukhil's nearest and dearest.
