Aspiring lawyer Amar, inveterate schemer Akbar and loser in love Tony are childhood pals, who grew up together in the cultural melting pot of Hounslow. Tony has a habit of falling for the wrong woman, even when a matchmaker intervenes to shepherd him in the right direction. These poor choices have consequences for his two friends, who must overcome occasional intolerance and prejudice as they embrace each other's Sikh, Muslim and Irish Catholic traditions.
