Bombay Velvet

A gritty Hindi crime drama based on the book Mumbai Fables by historian Gyan Prakash. Gifted boxer Johnny Balraj and aspiring jazz singer Rosie cross paths in 1960s Bombay. Their fates entwine against a backdrop of crime, corruption and deceit. Thelma Schoonmaker, Oscar-winning long-time collaborator of Martin Scorsese, has edited the UK cut of the film.
