Cafe Society

Bobby Dorfman works for his jeweller father in 1930s New York City, but he is unfulfilled and wants a life of excitement and adventure to rival his brother Ben, who is a gangster. So Bobby heads from the east coast to the west to work as an underling for his uncle Phil, who is a high-ranking talent agent in Los Angeles. In order to help his nephew settle in, Phil asks his beautiful secretary Veronica to look after Bobby. Her kindness sparks an attraction for Bobby but Veronica rebuffs his advances.
