The Light Between Oceans

Drama First World War veteran Tom Sherbourne accepts a position as a lighthouse keeper on the coast of Western Australia, where he falls in love with a local girl called Isabel Graysmark. They eventually marry, but the couple's attempts to conceive end in heartbreak. Shortly after Isabel miscarries for the second time, Tom stumbles upon a rowboat on the beach. Inside he finds a dead man and a mewling baby girl. Isabel persuades Tom to keep secret the baby and to pass the infant off as their own.
