T2 Trainspotting

Drama Mark Renton returns home to Edinburgh, 20 years after he betrayed his good friends, to beg forgiveness from Spud. When reluctant publican Sick Boy discovers Renton is back in town, he vows revenge, aided by his Bulgarian girlfriend, Veronika. Psychotic jailbird Begbie, who is finally glimpsing life without bars, is equally enraged and plans a grim fate for Renton. Tensions explode and poor Spud struggles to sever ties to heroin and discover self-worth.
