The Black Prince

Drama Sikh Maharajah Ranjit Singh, ruler of Punjab, passes away and his death creates a power vacuum, which precipitates a violent war of succession. Eventually, his five-year-old youngest son, Duleep Singh, is installed as king. The British spirit Duleep away to England to be raised as a Christian under the personal care of Queen Victoria. As he enters early adulthood, Duleep earns permission from Queen Victoria to travel home to meet his real mother.
