Thriller In March 1881, Sarah Winchester inherits a 20 million US dollar fortune and a 50 percent stake in the Winchester Repeating Arms Company following the death of her husband. Curiously, Sarah uses her fortune to construct a vast mansion on an isolated stretch of land located 50 miles outside of San Francisco. It transpires that Sarah is not building a grand legacy for her niece but an inescapable prison for vengeful ghosts that Sarah believes are destined to haunt her to the grave.
