Drama New York mobster Paulie Cicero takes Henry Hill under his wing and introduces the young man to a life of crime with his associates James "Jimmy the Gent" Conway and Tommy DeVito. Henry is quickly seduced by the lifestyle and begins to take big risks, which brings him to the attention of the FBI. Henry subsequently marries a local girl called Karen, who is seduced by her beau's criminal lifestyle. However, Henry and his Italian-American associates cannot operate above the law forever.
