SciFi Reunited with his friends in Zion, Neo realises that the only hope for the human race's survival lies in a treacherous journey above ground, across the scorched surface of the Earth, to launch an assault on the Machine City. So he and Trinity borrow the speediest craft in the fleet and head for a final showdown with rogue program Smith. Meanwhile, Morpheus and the other rebels complete preparations for the Sentinel invasion as the machine army bores into the subterranean stronghold of Zion.
