Drama David is a 25-year-old gay yuppie, who volunteers to provide emotional support to an Aids patient through his local community centre. He is paired with 32-year-old California gardener Robert, who has been abandoned by family and friends. David arrives at Robert's Manhattan hospital room, where the two men from very different upbringings discover common ground in the most desperate times.
