Drama Poor Italian-American boy Tony Manero works in a paint shop by day but comes alive at night (especially on Saturdays), clad in his finest threads. He enters a high profile dance competition and forsakes his girlfriend Annette in favour of the more talented Stephanie. The soundtrack shimmies to Bee Gees hits including "Stayin' Alive", "More Than A Woman" and "You Should Be Dancin'".
